I, speaking for myself, personally, just one man talking here, but I don't get the appeal, either. Social networking in general. I know people who are on every networking site that comes along. Where do you find the time? I have my own website and I can't even keep up with that. I don't care what you're doing, and I have a sneaking suspicion you don't really care what I'm doing, either.

I have a twitter account, and I've tried to use it twice. It just leaves entirely too much to be desired from a typical "social networking site." Sure, it's essentially just the status thing from facebook(which I will add I update constantly), but without any of the other features I can't seem to motivate myself to check or update my account.
