Reading up on the release, it seems like most special effects are in, but there are still some oddities around. The example I saw is Wolverine having his claws randomly appear on his hand instead of coming out normally.

Is anyone really surprised? Once you heard that it was getting fast tracked for 2009 and there wasn't a script until the very last minute, you knew that was a recipe for disaster. I guess the big surprise is that they managed to ruin a few other Marvel staples in the process.

You can see wires attached to the actors during all the physical stunts and most of the special effects look like they came from an episode of Reboot or something. Don't watch this if you want to see the complete film.

OTOH, all the shoddy effects are probably only going to make this bad film even funnier.

I watched the first hour and 15 minutes. Will come back to it later probably.

As someone who thought all the X-Men movies were just kinda stupid, I honestly don't think this is really any more dumb than what's come before. The main problem is that Wolverine and Sabretooth are really the only characters in the movie. Everyone else shows up for 10 minutes and then bites it.

It strikes me as so bizarre that they signed on names like Ryan Reynolds and Will.I.Am for what amounts to extended cameos.

The sniper scene in the barn is pure movie-gold though. I'm surprised that forums aren't already blowing up with animated GIFs of it and the "kid Wolverine" opening sequence.

This movie is actually pretty horrible. Clearly the script sucks, but the director also sucks. This movie is just trash. I didn't find one good thing about it, the story is a mess, rushed, gambit sucks, Deadpool sucks, etc.

Well, Lieve Shiver, the dude who plays Sabretooth is pretty cool but that was about it.

Quite possibly the worst comic book movie ever. On the level of Swamp Thing. Or maybe Howard the Duck.

On the plus side. I just saw Dubaku. Maybe Wolverine could team up with Jack Bauer for the sequel.

I don't know why. People also laughed at it in the trailer, some people even say he was stuck..what? Are you brain damaged or something? (to those people).

To me it was the only non utter shit action sequence in the movie.
