The Dude is a fuckin' wretched PS3 fan. He, Koala Bear, and iamnaked (the latter is OAS' Dark Shake) make that shithole completely unreadable.
i don't believe these things... there are never a few selected individuals with no power who are the bane of a forum's discourse quality
if OA and many other boards are sometimes really overly chaotic it's because of the general attitude of its members... over the years it has been flooded with mediocre posters with nothing to say from GAF and other communities, and in the end they won over the more intellectual members that populated it in the first few years... and it happens on every web community, over time the ignorant newbies always win
hordes always seek weak vessels to take the blame of their own collective misdeeds-- now in this example I'm absolutely not saying that the following posters are bad, but Willco and MrAngryFace also have a whole lot of posts and sound off in every thread because they're bored and they can... however since they hold powers, they can never serve the horde's purpose and won't ever come off as controversial weaklings...
even if the vessels are banned (The Dude, Koala Bear and Iamnaked in this case), it accomplishes nothing but cosmetic changes... it'd only make others take their places as flamers are all in all bored individuals looking for entertainment--- they would look for other people to purge their own faults onto
it's probably the same with Phoenix Dark and Master Shake here, to a certain extent
what has OA actually informed you about regarding gaming, JoJo, outside of excuses for the PS3's poor performance
well anything goes, and any gaming topic goes too... yes it's a majority of Xbots but many members talk about RPGs, PS2, the NES, gaming journalists, nostalgia... anything really, when one of these topics is brought forth it's always a blast... and there is always a GAF lurker or two bringing something niche to the table in them, and they sound off with honest info they don't say at their main board to avoid being banned
information is constantly taken from GAF and certain posters cut through the bullshit... it's the hub of the whole gaming journalism sector, and I appreciate them immensely for doing that
