I had a dream last night, where someone gave me a $1 bill, a $5 bill and a $100 bill when I was supposed to get just 3 singles.  You'd think, "Hey! It's a dream! I am going to take this money and blow it all on my wildest imaginary fantasies!"

... but I felt guilty, even in my dream!  I just felt compelled to do the right thing and return it; I couldn't possibly keep this imaginary money that was not mine.  I returned the $5 and $100 bill to its rightful owner, who was very grateful.  Then I woke up for work.

Do I suck?

I just don't know why I didn't take the money and buy a Wii or something.  It's a dream.  I had to have known that.  In fact, I'm pretty sure I did know that.

Yet, I still returned the money.  I can't be evil.

I would have done the same. I'm the type of person thats all for truth and justice and stuff. Would feel as though I'm violating my own code if I did that.

Being morally upstanding is one thing, but short changing yourself out of guilt over someone else's mistake? That makes you a sap.
