I'm always weirded out when I have cash. I typically use my debit card for everything.

It was pretty strange carrying around tons of cash while I was in Japan. Paper Yen were too tall for my wallet, too.

For everyday use I've got one of those George Costanza monstrosities. It's really fucking ridiculous. I can't even fit it into my pocket, I just throw it in either my briefcase or in a backback. I don't even know what the fuck I've got in it anymore. Just old garbage and plastic.

Right now I'm rocking a Louis Vuitton monogram wallet, but I want something with a coin holder deal if only for trips to countries that actually use coins as substantial amounts of money. I don't get the anti-wallet sentiment. If you have carry bills in your pocket then you'll get them crumpled up and then you'll take longer to get them out and then everybody will look at you like you're a hobo-whore.

And it doesn't make sense usually to carry more than $20 in cash so there's no huge risk with getting robbed.
