Playing PS2 games on a HDTV just feels so weird nowadays.  The muddy texts alone is enough to annoy. 

Maybe I'll finish my last gen backlog when I get another CRT TV.

Sure, if you have all the time in the world.  I'd love to play the Persona games, but at 80+ hours or whatever and only a few hours of game time available a day, if that, I would never finish them.

the little I've played of Persona 2 was good and most people who play it, like it.  Persona 1 is getting a PSP remake because the original was so poorly localized.

p2 is great; p1 was great for its time but it's pretty brutal and clunky by modern standards for the genre

P1 and P2 are completely different from P3 and P4. P2 is great, but P1, as Drinky said isn't so great these days. Hell, it wasn't even great back when I first played it and that was just a few years after it came out.

Wait for the psp remake of P1. I have an inkling they'll release both P2's on the psp soon after too.

Having finally purchased component cables for my PS2, I have started my Persona 3: FES game as well after a 9 month hiatus. Fuuka just joined my party, I am about 23 hours into the game.
