Is Highlander like one of the most fucking badass movies ever? Christopher Lambert kicked ass, and his sword is like omg jesus lord take me take me now take me take me!!!

And the soundtrack by Queen? Like what? Is this my pubic hair on fire? Unbelievable, from Princes of the Universe to Who wants to live forever.

And the premise, the premise is just amazing, how come weird shit, and just borderline dubious stuff gets made in Hollywood, big time, and then something like Highlander doesn't get the break it deserves.

I wish they rebooted the property, told it properly, shit you can make all kinds of cool stuff with it, and gave it a good budget and attached some good talent, because it would just become the greatest thing ever.

You have all the ingredients, space for amazing love stories, space for amazing action, multiple time periods if you want, whatever.

Well they've run out of shitty sequel ideas so now they're remaking this movie.

I actually liked the TV series better. Maybe it was the fact that we got hours of story instead of just two. This movie still kicks ass though.

Highlander is awesome.

And I'll even watch the sequels for the lulz. Highlander II is more unintentionally entertaining than most movies are on purpose.

The Renegade edition of Highlander II is slightly more watchable since they cut out all that Zeist bullshit. I still LOL at the part with Ramirez on the airplane.

Yes, a magic cave that somehow blocked him from being included in the original Gathering, thus explaining how Connor became The One without there being only one.

Highlander is both awesome and crappy. The premise and soundtrack are fucking awesome, but most of the actual movie is kinda lame. Still, the whole scene with "IT'S BETTER TO BURN OUT THAN TO FADE AWAY!" was cool.

my 9th grade biology teacher would bump every students test score to the next nearest letter grade if they answered the extra credit question correctly. the answer was the same each and every time and the two i remember from uptop of my head are "what is the greatest film ever made" and "what movie has the famous line "there can only be one". guess what film it was
