A few books showed up from amazon, although the new Patrick Rothfuss was out of stock :'(

All you syfy distinguished effete fellows should read Ian McDonald. Ian M. Banks is awesome but there are plenty of other great UK SF voices to explore.

new Eggers book, eh? I've been meaning to read something else by him after getting through Heartbreaking Work many years ago. I started They Shall Know Our Velocity at some point, but never finished it.

I bought a char-burger with cheddar spread, pickles, relish, ketchup, sport peppers, tomato, and onions. was amazing, but those sport peppers really tear right through ya.

Stopped by half price books to see if I could snag a cheap Oblivion GOTY guide, but no dice. That store has sucked for a while now...an acquaintance of mine who works at one confirmed that the people pricing the stuff taking all the good gaming stuff of value and send the crap out to the floor.
