I would like to make use of this thread to ask about recommendations as far as building my own PC goes. Never done this before and will probably be taking the plunge next month. And recommended sites for this or just recommended parts to get? Assuming Newegg is the place to buy from.

Newegg or TigerDirect are probably your best bets. TigerDirect has some pretty good deals on barebones kits.
