Didn't post this in the Gaming Forum since my vision of this thread is not of Technical Discussions but that of a different matter. But anywayyyssss...

Was setting up another Server PC (since my old one hit the shitbed...it was like a 7 Year Old HP PC...jesus christ...)...But yeah...decided to give my Blue-Monster PC a go again with its 6600GT and the bitch just started working. The Video Card itself wasn't working at all at one point and couldn't test out the PC at all since I also made the disturbing discover that it didn't have an On Board Video (srsly WTF?!).

Warp to now, I'm setting it up...probably bust a nut on some Battlefield2 . Now I can transcode vids at a better speed due to my better CPU I have in this rig (AMD64 3000+ Venice).

So what wonderful occurrences have happened to you? Something out of the blue that made your day just a lil better like this has to me. Speak yo minds

Learning that I can push-start my car if the battery dies (only works for manual transmissions). I never knew about this trick and I was calling my folks to come give me a jumpstart when my dad informed me of this nifty little manuver. I almost want my battery to die again so I can try it out again.

Its the best vid card I have at the moment . I've thought about getting a 7600 (I think its the equivalent of the 6600GT but a generation up) but now I'm justing going to totally way for a equivalent DX10 Card.

Its more or less due to the new technology in DX10 cards. Not really the whole newfangled DX10 Water and how things are supposed to look better but DX9 games are supposed to get a really nice performance boost.

Of course, I'm waiting till a card hits around $200-$250 before I buy anything. I'm not the type to spend $500+ on a Vid card, way to much monies
