Nah it's their fourth album from 1996. It's darker than their previous albums; a product of the times really, given the west coast/east coast "war" that was going on. Production wise it's a mixture of their traditional jazzy vibe with J Dilla's harder drums/bass, neo soul

From what I've read it wasn't as well received as their previous albums, which is kinda understandable considering those three albums are classic. It's very solid and features some fierce rhyming though; seems like Tip and Phife felt the need to prove themselves, given the attacks leveled against them by more aggressive rappers like Tupac. I guess my biggest complaint is that there are a lot of tracks where Tip or Phife are solo; sure those tracks are still great, but I just love hearing them going back and forth together.

NIGHTFALL!!!

it's an old radio play that was on the CBC in the early 80s. Started in 80 and ended in 83. Damn good radio play. Highly recommend it to anyone who like horror radio plays. I was able to obtain most of the episodes from 80 to 83. I know I'm missing a few, but I've got a lot of em.

That's unfortunate that they let the competition get in their heads. Their style was fine.

I was watching Adult Swim before I left to work this morning and they had a UK Office bump with a track that I really liked. Not knowing what the hell it was called, I left a message over on the AdultSwim boards asking what it was. Well, I got an answer from the admin that it was called "Ulterior Motif" and couldn't be purchased or downloaded by the public but could be listened to in its entirety at extrememusic.com

Can't be downloaded? We'll see about that! I tried all my ripping programs but nothing seemed compatible with extrememusic.com but I KNOW there has to be some kind of work around to this.....there always is. Maybe someone here might be able to help a brother out. Anyone?

Another good solution to piracy: intentionally leak your album at a really awful bitrate and leave it to braindead bloggers to transcode it and make finding a good rip via non-torrent sources a titanic pain in the ass. This is why I own a physical copy of Veckatimest, which I was never particularly crazy about.

Glad they're back to not sucking. I've got tickets to see them in April. Last time I saw them they played for over 3 hours and it was incredible.
