That and almost everyone with talent for Al to mooch off of left the group. Not that he's a hack or anything, you don't get that many people to roll with you if you suck, but those days were a few decade and many drugs ago. Ministry was life changing shit for me back in the day and now it is sadly just shit. On the plus side the Fix documentary filmed around their Filth Pig era tour is finally on DVD in April.

Watching the 'chealla stream and the fuck is this Beirut band? If you like this band I want to punch you. Watchwed the Ministry doc Fix the other day, covers their '96 tour. I know Paul Barker's declared 'every story you've heard about this band is true' and 'go ahead an make a story up right now. That story? True.' regarding them but I still wasn't quite entirely ready for what I was witness to. Al's been kinda gone for a long time clearly, also David Yow is crazy/awesome. Dude was on stage with the M guys wearing nothing but socks and it gets far better/worse than that. Highly recommended if you've ever given a fuck about those guys. Say no to drugs kids, or at least stay the fuck away from heroin, goddamn.
