Kali Uchis has a pretty charming EP from last year called Por Vida. The only song I really don't like is produced by Tyler lol

Watched Interstella 5555 again. Man, Discovery was a mess. It's one of very few albums that I don't like, but enjoy most of the songs from on their own. Collectively it somehow manages to be pretty flat, somehow.

Ooh rainy day JP type ambience huh? This Teto fronted jam fits that bill nicely I think

Some Swedish dude spent 14 months making a marble machine that plays a tune. This is the coolest most innovative musical thing I've strumbled across since I learned of vocal sequencers like Teto in the above clip.

Tim hecker; love streams. A pretty strong pivot from his previous few albums, this reminds me of 'classic' electronic from the 70s 80s but with a modern sensibility and production. Haven't fully digested, but some of the tracks are simply mesmerizing in a way only he can do it.

Been putting some Japanese cds onto cloud based music servers and tonight found out that wtf after Go!Go!7188 disbanded in 2012, the main singer re-started her side band Chirinuruwowaka and they've put out like 4-5 EPs since 2013. Just placed my order on Amazon JPN to grab some.

Go!Go!7188 was one of my favorite punk/rock/ska bands in the early 2000s.
