Machine Dreams is pretty good, waaaay more 80's / crazy electropop than their first album though. Not mellow at all.

they're not that unknown. the main singer/song-writer of ramona falls is one of the members of Menomena. it's essentially a one-guy group, and he collaborated with a lot musicians in his area.
