HQI've never exactly been a fan of BEP, so I was unaware that they were partially formed from another group. Let me just say that this album blew me away, and that means a lot seeing as this came at the end of a week in which I was working my way through a bunch of my favorite 90s alt hip-hop classics (Bizarre Ride II the Pharcyde, Midnight Marauders, Melodica, Stakes is High, et al.). It's really depressing hearing Boom Boom Pow after listening to this

HQNot bad for a band that is largely a knockoff of The Smashing Pumpkins

I was going to post some tracks from this (Aphex Twin's Selected Ambient Works Volume II), but the distinguished effete fellows at WMG seem to be pulling all the songs from this release off of YouTube, which incidentally might be partially why the only Aphex Twin I've ever been exposed to is his beat-oriented stuff. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to electronic music, but I absolutely love this. What are some other albums or artists that are similar? And is there anything else in Aphex Twin's discography that comes close in terms of style? The only other ambient albums I have in my library are Eno's Discreet Music and his 1-4 series
