I'm a total jam person. I had just opened this small $4 container of Strawberry / Rhubarb jam and with one whiff I was nose deep in Taylor Swifts cooch. I probably need to try out better jelly since my only experience with it are the Welch branded mega jars.

Jam for toast, jelly for peanut butter and JELLY sandwiches. Jam is a messy bitch on a sandwich.

I actually like Jam in my Peanut Butter sandwiches. The texture in the jam and have the PB creamy.

There's no reason you can't have the best of both worlds: jam AND Taylor Swift's cooch.

JAM. Period.

What's the difference between preserves and jam?

More fruit, less sugar in preserves I believe. Just going on appearance and taste.

Every year I am in rapture as the 25th of December approaches and my mind imagines what delightful treats my friends have bought me.  Last year it was the Jungle Love Assortment pack.

And on my birthday I got a big jar of honey and biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig jar of jelly so I had the best sandwiches.

Accordin' to the wikipedias, 'jam' and 'preserves' are interchangable.  The use of one or the other probably falls on marketing.

I've made hundred of PB&J sandwiches, but not 1 for myself. It's probably been 10-15 years since I've eaten a PB&J.

According to wiki marmelade has part of the fruit skin which gives it a bit more bitter taste.

I'm a jam person, but marmelade has its uses.

I don't know what jelly even is.

Jelly is made with fruit juice, not whole pieces of fruit which Jam is made from.

It looks like jello.

I like jam best.

That's why Holland doesn't have jello, it makes no damn sense.

Jelly is harder to spread, but if you put too much jam on something, that shit will spill out like trying to balance watr on your bread. Messy indeed.

I guess I prefer jam.  I once tried it with caviar though and that was a big mistake.
