So, Canada-Bore, which city is better to visit? Montreal or Toronto?

I ask as I am planning to take a vacation to Canada this year, but I don't know which city would be a better place to go. So help me out Canada-Bore, which city and why?

I might also stop in NYC for a few days too.

So, is Toronto THAT bad? I had a friend go there last year and he said it was awesome. He also mentioned great clubs there similar the Chez Paree.

But besides the apparently great nightlife in both cities, what else is there to see/do?

Toronto is not bad.  I have tons of friends from Toronto and they have good things to say about it.  But as a tourist, Montreal offers more history and better architecture and better food.  I also remember thinking that every women I came across in Montreal was gorgeous.

My time frame is late August or sometime in September for the trip. I figure for a 5 day or weeklong vacation.  Does that change anyone's recommendation?

Toronto is alright, but most like it because it's a generic American-city that actually works, though this has fallen off recently. It is though one of the most multi-cultural cities in the world, with much to enjoy if you're willing to dig in.

Montreal is awesome and probably better if your actually looking for a foreign experience in your own backyard. (chicks be hot there)
