Soul Reaver is fine on PS1, but it's way better on Dreamcast. Same with Rayman 2. I'd also say Blood Omen is great, but allegedly the PS1 version had terrible loading compared to PC.

really? with as much time as i spent on it, i sure did hate that system. well, more like the style of games during that gen. everything was just so slow (because of drawn-out playtimes, shit pacing, and insane load times), games were way easier and most didn't have difficulty levels, and every game had ass-ugly cutscenes that the devs forced you to watch. there were so many times that i had to take a break from the ps1 and stick to my pc or older consoles just to get a good action fix.
