My aunt, well she dead now, but when she was livin, geez.
She lied her way into a marriage, she lied her way into being a doctor for a couple of months, civil engineer, and a professor once. Really fucked up.
How does one lie their way into being a doctor? Did she go to a hospital one day and start diagnosing people?
What happened was, she would first tell somebody what she did for a living, and she would answer based on how good she wanted to look according to the status of the other person.
The doctor thing, she showed up at the hospital one day, and started acting like a doctor, she took the white thingy with her, and she was there for two whole months, everybody thought she was a doctor, like she knew everybody, other doctors and shit. Then rumor started flying and she bounced.
I don't know how people didn't caught up to it earlier, i guess nobody gave a shit back then.
As a Civil Engineer, she passed as one for her "now" husband, i guess her Widower, and the guy basically married to her not knowing what she did for a living, + she was pregnant from this other dude, and she said it was his.
The professor thing, was basically, she just gave classes at this kids school, with a false certificate or something, she was there for a whole year. They never figured it out, she bounced clean.
Very troubled woman. Tough childhood anyway, father was a "ladies man", and messed with the money of important people in Lisbon, had to take the whole family into exile up north in Porto, and despite making lots of money, he would waste the whole lot in gambling and womens and shit. His older son(my uncle), was the same as he but without the talent to make money, because he's a dumb shit with a gambling problem, although i pity him when i see him, my aunt basically took care of my father when they were little, she put him through school, and took care of the middle brother (my father was the youngest), which become mentally disabled when he got thrown a rock at the head when he was little, and in some ironic way she was the reason why my father completely fell far from the three, and is the only of the brothers to not be involved in some borderline dubious shit, heh.
Anyway, true story.
