You read it. I'm gonna be snagging myself a fancy HD set this weekend and I'm wondering which games really purr in HD. I have Dead Rising, Oblivion, PGR3, GRAW, PSU and Just Cause sitting around. I'll almost certainly snag GoW along with the set. Is there anything I'm missing that's gonna blow my head off?

GOW for sure, Viva Pinata is supposed to look good as well.

Demi likes advent rising so I wouldn't trust him with anything.

Well Dead Rising is a special case, and in that case we are talking about the text, not the visuals. Ive been gaming on an EDTV for a while now which gets me 480p and all the 360 games I have picked up are great.

However im picking up a 32 inch widescreen hdtv tonight that does 780p so OMG OMG gonna 360 it up lol

I THINK thats the one im getting, not sure, but its close. All of samsungs lcd hdtvs are rated high. Only 945 omg 550 off! I think it does 1080i if I WANT to but i am cry

I still haven't beaten the stupid fucking Mexico mission in R6, so I'm a lil' underwhelmed. The faces are kinda gross.

Gears of War looks fantastic, plays even better.

Viva Pinata looks wonderful in HD, all the colors really come to life, nice sharp edges on all the animated menus and whatnot. Have't tried, JC, Dead Rising or GRAW yet. Keep meaning to pop in Oblivion.

I still haven't even tried every game in my 360 collection out on my new HDTV yet, but so far the biggest difference I've noticed was in Oblivion. It looked a lot better; textures look better and the colors just jumped off the screen.

I've heard numerous reports that Rainbow Six Vegas looks noticeably better too. Gears didn't look that much different to me; it looks amazing no matter what you play it on.

I keep meaning to pop Oblivion in. It looked so good before. R6 definitley looks better.

You know, I didn't buy the whole "Get an HD set or don't bother" argument before, but I do now. Mmmm.
