Why is it unjustified? The government has already wasted 4 Billion dollars bailing them out before. Why shouldn't they expect the government to blink and do it again?

Just a drop in the bucket to what Obama plans to spend, but still, 4 Billion wasted.

How was it wasted? This is a 30-60 day prepackaged bankruptcy with an exit plan.

I wonder how all these people would feel if Chrysler had filed for Chapter 7 instead of geting the loans they needed to achieve a deal with Fiat, and then the government was on the hook for hundreds of thousands of newly unemployed people and paying out pension benefits for them to boot. That'd be a real cash saver.
