...you're stuck almost 1000 miles away from Family, Friends, etc, your wife leaves you, tells you she isn't letting you take your son back to your home state, basically gives you the decision to be a father here (where you know NO ONE/ have no one) or go home and be almost a 1000 miles away from your kids? But you have a "support" group there.

You have a job here, but you don't dig it too much.

What do you do?

Oh, you also have another child back in your home state that you rarely see as it is... ugh. What a mind fuck.

Sorry, but by the 5th or 6th case of similar situations, i just grow increasingly less sympathetic for the people involved. There's always a reason, there's always a motive, there's always something that didn't work out, but in the end, when you really look at the situation, 9 out of 10 times, the people involved could've done better, and should've done better.

Fact is, you did leave a son 1000 miles ago, and you are contemplating leaving 2 more. Sorry, but, i would've been a bit more sympathetic, had you not contemplated leaving your kids, "once again".

Yeah, I'm not making any decisions yet. it'd be a month or 2 before i make any decisions anyways. But I know I can get my kids any time I want (here or up there), she just wants to have them full time I guess.

Who knows, only time will tell.

Yeah, things have been a bit rough the past 8 months or so. We moved to AL to get a fresh start, I guess it just didn't happened. I moved down here because I love her and my kids very much. We both gave up good jobs to come down here. Only thing different is her mom lives down here, all of my family is in Michigan. So I guess if it was a contest on who lost more by moving, I guess I win.

But like I said before, I'd go to hell and back for my family.

I'm taking everything day by day. I'm not making any decisions until the storm has mellowed out. You're correct on KD. He's staying w/ Jamie tonight and he isn't too happy about I guess. I feel bad for Jamie that he would rather be w/ me all the time. But like I've said in the past, we have a connection.

I know going back isn't a cure, I do not think of it that way at all. This is a rough situation and it isn't going to take a quick and easy answer. My family keeps me here for now, hopefully we can work this out. You know I love them very much.

Much contemplation & patients is needed.
