I'd like to believe that they'd cast someone who could pull a somewhat passable cajun accent off as Gambit.

But then, you know, the only person around here saying the movie was any good is AM NINTENHO.

I couldn't tell you anything about Gambit's accent or how bad/good Ryan Reynolds did as Deadpool. I refused to watch the movie.

It was worth watching for the cheesiness.  There were some ass-backwards plot twists and the dialogue in general is laughable so if you know exactly what you're going into, it's worth wasting an afternoon for.

Again though, the franchise was already run into the ground.  It can not be saved.  Your $9 wouldn't make them get somebody with a better accent.
