I mean, really.  No, really.

If he really does come back to play for the Vikes, look for me to go Galt in the woods during Week 4- that's when ESPN has the Packers/Vikings game on MNF, and if you think having to listen to Kornheiser is bad enough already...

Also, I bet Madden comes out of retirement for one game to call the Week 8 game at Lambeau- it's a week where NBC has a flex option for Sunday night and you KNOW they'd scoop that shit up quick.

No, what's really pathetic is that I traded him for TJ Whosyourmama last season when I was 99% sure he was gonna retire and stay retired in my dynasty league.

Still, doing that forced me to play Tyler Thigpen down the stretch, which resulted in me WINNING IT ALL.  Thanks Brett Favre!

Lol, now ESPN even has John Clayton saying how good it would be for the Vikings.

WHAT? SERIOUSLY? DID ANYONE ACTUALLY REMEMBER LAST SEASON? People in the NFL must have two second memories. At this point I would take Tarvaris Jackson over Multiple Retirements Man any day. The man is fucking his own career in the ass spectacularly.

Not only that, the Jets fell hook line and sinker for "I want to be released so I can retire as a Packer." What horse shit. I hope to fucking god Sanchez starts and makes Favre look distinguished mentally-challenged. I doubt it though, since I have no expectations for this year's QB draft class.

A season of Football wouldn't feel the same without him. Now ESPN has lots of filler material till' August.

I hope he plays, he's fun to watch.

That said, I could do without the typical sports-media "let's cover this into the ground" philosophy, bringing on talking heads until you're bleeding from your eyes and ears. Favre, Ed Werder living in Dallas for three years just to get a T.O. scoop, did A-Rod forget to put the seat down, etc.

Cover the games.

Some guy on SportsCenter: "It would be more of a surprise now if Favre DIDN'T come out out retirement"

Minn. will be in a better position to win now, than the Jets were last year. They've got enough weapons, and they should compete in a weak division.

Minnesota has given Favre a one week deadline to decide whether he's coming back.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4240888

He probably will decide to come back. And since he had arthroscopic surgery, he'll be throwing faster, more accurate interceptions.

Embarrassing the Lions isn't really difficult to do.

By the way the Lions are my new NFL team. I've been without an NFL team for a few years, and figured I'd pick the worst NFL franchise in history to prevent people from calling me a bandwagon fan.

Go Lions!

I'd take a 6 month ban if the Lions go win-less again. I just don't see lightning striking again. Defense has been moderately improved, and a healthy/in shape Culpepper should put the team in a position to be competitive. Still pissed about not truly addressing the OL situation but meh, time will tell

As long as he doesn't play for the Jets again, it's all good.  :-*

It's too bad the Vikings don't play New York because Favre might have finally thrown a ball to someone in a Jets' uniform.
