Since my fellow PCfag Borys is back, I thought I'd start off a new WDYB thread with some PC gear.
I just got my Razer Mamba mouse and Razer Destructor professional gaming mat yesterday. They are the biggest purchases I've made in a few months but the wait was certainly worth it.
The packaging for the Mamba immediately lets you know that it's a high end product. The mouse itself certainly lives up to the high expectations.
Quite simply, the Razer Mamba is by far the most comfortable and responsive mouse that I've ever owned.
The leap in performance from my previous mouse, the Logitech G9, which was already a great mouse, was incredible.
If you're been looking for a wireless mouse that performs as well as a wired one, then look no further. Even in wireless mode, the Mamba never lagged once.
One caveat: the drivers are kinda wonky. It took me a couple of tries to get the profiling software working. The mouse works fine even without the software but it is necessary if you like to customize DPI settings for each game.
