We have to perform certain kinds of inventories every week and our store was flagged that it did not - even though I scanned it. But we ran out of paper and without proof, I get a final corrective action.

I re-ordered paper, but there's some kind of supply moratorium in effect. I even sprung for paper out of my own pocket at Office Depot last week, but we've run out again (this company wastes so much fucking printer paper).

No, final corrective action is the precursor to getting fired - my DM has to do it on account of RDO policy at the moment.

Yeah, there's a supply moratorium and the only way to get 'em is through an emergency supply order through my DM. And, well, good luck with that. I bought some paper from Office Depot, but we burnt through that in a few days.

Between opening and closing paperwork, daily inventories, daily pulls, time scheduling, checklists and the fact that it prints off 2 - 8 pages of paper per new member, well, we're doing our best to kill some polar bears.

I won't even go into detail on how we're supposed to fax twelve to fourteen pages of paperwork per week. I repeat - faxing over a dozen pieces of hand written paperwork.

The end result is that I'm likely going to get a final corrective action - since I doubt I printed the cycle count on paper after we finalized the inventory, since y'know, we ran out of paper. And if the computer says it's not done, well, screw the computer!

What's funny is that I was on the phone, while scanning the dumb inventory in question, with my DM. He knows this. But our RDO is basically like:

The best part is that this is a weekly count of all systems we have on-hand, which is something we check for manually twice a day (voluntarily, I might add - something I instituted since my store is so high shrink) and I do have written down.
