I'll try to pick it up but I forgot to preorder.  This is my worst fear realized.

Put 2 hours in it. I really like this, the combat is way better.

I picked this up earlier.  The box is pretty crazy, especially considering it wasn't full price.  The little doll thing is cute.

Shin Megami Tensei IV PS3 or PS3/360, dammit

I want something brutal, dark, with a lot of freedom and real, unique dungeons like Nocturne, no more emo Persona with randomly generated dungeons for a while

Atlus better have this brewing or else I'm going to enter a deep depression  >:(

there was some kind of confirmation for SMT IV on PS3 years ago though, and Atlus did post a job openings for programmers with PS3/360 experience, although it could be for some sort of action game designed to appeal to the western market, like Maken X

Maken X 2 would be awesome.  I heard there was a Maken X on PS2 that was third person, but I've never played it, and it being third person didn't really make me want to play it.

I played only an hour of Devil Summoner 2 and the combat is fun.  Never played the first game.  I'm too tired to find the 20 minutes of nonstop boring dialogue too entertaining right now.

I liked that if you meet a demon that you had in your party in the original, they join your new party. I also like that you can plan before the fight starts, that's really neat.

I don't know if it's just me or the fact that I'm playing on the PS2 but the loading is kinda long at certain areas. Tsukudo-Cho is the main offender taking up to a minute to load. Now this isn't problem or anything, it's just odd considering how fast I remember P3 and P4 being.

Oh blergh. I decided to try the game out on the PS3 and it loads much faster, so much faster that I started over. Wished I didn't have to but the PS3 doesnt have any shitty memory cards slots. I'm gonna have to buy of those memory card adapters :/

So alone in the thread :(

Yeah I played the whole thing on a PS3 and I didn't notice any long loading.  The memory card adapter is great, so definitely pick that up and transfer your save over.  I have all my PS2 saves from like 5 memory cards backed up on my PS3 harddrive.  It's nice to just pop in a PS2 game and have your save.

:lol I'm a dirty poor at the moment, so no Sacred 2 or anything else for little while. I just into Chapter 2, I really like the music in this game, it sets the tone quite well.

Sacred 2 doesn't have Lucifer.  Therefore DS2 >>>>> Sacred 2.

All SMT games have Lucifer. Retread after retread. Boring. Sacred 2 is a breath of fresh air in what is a stale economy of japanese xenophobia.

In DS2 you can take a dip in a sauna and run around with a towel on.  Can you do that in Sacred 2, I ask?!

In Sacred 2 you escort a member of Blind Guardian to their concert and you are rewarded with a performance.

So I'm in Chapter 3 now and I encountered White/Pale Rider. Killed me twice in a row. At least I know Ice is his weakness, the game is also starting to get harder. Good times.

Just got home from the beach. There was a box from Amazon on my doorstep that someone ripped open and stole my copy of Devil Summoner 2 out of. I had specifically asked UPS to NOT DELIVER IT UNTIL TUESDAY.

I'm sorry to hear that distant.

I beat it today, good game. I liked the final boss. Do not use your Soma till the final boss. DO NOT USE IT. I think I'll most likely go through it again to see what Neutral and Chaos is like.
