Games for Windows Live on PC is better than XBL on X360

I hope the interface on X720 is more like GFWL.  I've been checking it out with Universe at War because of the $5 Steam sale and it's visually soooooo much nicer than the X360 interface.  It's clean, compact, and most importantly FAST.  Everything is so smooth and the text looks a lot better for whatever reason at monitor resolution.  It's just a much better product than the clunky X360 interface.  I actually hope more PC games start using GFWL because it's cool (hopefully it doesn't have much overhead).

I find GFWL annoying as hell because I don't care about getting achievements on my PC.  Let me play my PC games in peace.

I have mixed feelings. I do luv my achievements, but the matchmaking in the 2 multiplayer GFWL games that I have is just awful. And don't get me started on Fallout 3, which requires a workaround in order for the dlc to work. Plus the way GFWL handles dlc is a joke. Would it be that hard to make marketplace integrated in the ui? I doubt it

I just meant the visual interface.  I'm not talking about the matchmaking or actual connectivity stuff.  I've never actually played online with it.  I just use it to check my X360 profile stuff like mail, friendslist, my achievements and all that is way smoother and easier to do on the PC.  The interface is like XBL from the future, which I hope just means X720's interface.
