Hm, I have to check it out. Saw a couple meh reviews of it and kinda wrote it off as "old dudes trying to stay relevant."

Speaking of old dudes/relevant, Method Man & Redman's new album (Blackout 2) is pretty good.

Yeah it's good. EPMD's was surprisingly compelling as well.

IWW is basically a mainstream version of OBFCL...but Nas kills most of the beats, and his storytelling is great imo

Nah that's from God's Son, which I haven't listened to but heard was alright. The album is mainly gangsta/mafioso stuff which might turn people off, but his flow is flawless throughout the album. Plus..

also his Niqqer Tape mixtape wasn't bad. Had me hyped for the actual album which wound up being shitty. I kinda like Hip Hop Is Dead but it has almost no reply value, probably because it only has a few good tracks.
