Breaking the Waves is fucking brutal enough. I can't imagine how bad this really is.

 The title is a riff on that Esquire article about The Road.
 
 The idea of the mesmerzing disaster is kind of drawing.. it reads completely nutty and arrogant.. but I posted it because I thought the bore responds to these self concsiously arty horror flicks.. there will probably be comparisons to Salo.

I've struggled through Almodovar's work; but he's clearly a great director and Broken Embraces has a delectable appearance. I haven't heard many arguments it's a major entry in his work this decade though.

 the prize itself, I hear Campion is something of a return to form. I'm most keen on the out of comp Parnassus to be honest though.
