Doesn't it suck when someone just dies unexpectedly?

I just got a call from my dad.  My brother's father in law just died today.

Some of you may be thinking "Ok, well it wasn't YOUR dad".  While that is true, it still doesn't change the fact that he was a truly great guy, and I enjoyed the handful of times I really got to hang out with him.  Really personable, really cool guy.  He was in his mid 50's.  At least he got to see his newest Grandchild "Travis" before he died.

No health problems, but he basically woke up feeling weird today, and died soon after.  :(

I had a friend I knew since Middle School die about 2 years ago. He was graduating from college that year and they found him dead on dorm room floor. They say he had a heart attack but I refuse to believe it. He was one of the most fit people I've ever met.

That guy was going to be in the NBA, I swear..and he was smart too.

Really made sad he died because life was just beginning for him.

Just because you're fit doesn't mean you can't have heart problems

Well...I still refuse to believe the guy simply died from a heart attack.

But it goes to show you how frail the human body is.

Suicides distress the fuck out of me, but surprise deaths? Really, there ain't much shit anyone coulda done about it. Better to just feel bad and move on.

Well, I think it's a little harder than just "feeling bad and moving on".  It's just different when you don't expect it one bit.  I think it can be easier if you have time to prepare yourself for it.  Like when someone is sick, or your dad is on death row.

Nintendo stole Drinky's soul, don't worry about it.

I've dealt with a few unexpected deaths and it's pretty fucking terrible. Suicide is just fucking infuriating to me. Well, infuriating isn't even the right word...fuck I don't even know. It's just fucking horrible.
