Downfall is a $10 click and point pixel-based adventure game that plays basically identical to the old classics except there are a few choices that affect multiple endings.
It took me about 5-6 hours to finish and I'd say if you like these kind of games and you have the stomach for some really grotesque shit, then it's worth $10. The writing is witty and after about the halfway part it gets really funny like a good lucasarts game, although it gets serious again in the end. The puzzles are all item based. Grab tons of items and use them at the right spots. Difficulty is a little above average I'd say.
The visuals are really stylish and good. There's a fair amount of backgrounds and they all look great. The characters look alright and the animation is a little weak. The music is good at times and non-existent at others.
The story is ok. It's a not-Silent-Hill-level mindfuck horror short story. Things generally make sense in the end and there's certainly enough plot to carry the game for the 5 hour length.
You can get it from direct2drive for $10 and it's DRM free and comes with a walkthrough txt in case you get stuck. There's also a trailer there, but you should be able to tell if you want to put down $10 or not without watching it.
