A couple chapters every month. Whole thing is ultimately 3700 points.

Just finished the first chapter - took me about 7:30 gametime. This game is so awesome. I installed Rydia's story. You load the main one, then you can load the different stories from there. I dont know if it transfers your items and stats and shit though.

About to try it now

Ok when the credits finish you can save your clear data, which lets you import your stats/items to other stories

You can reload this data and it places you back outside and I guess you can grind if you want? I dunno

edit:

WTF the sprites got downgraded. They are back to FF4 type, unlike the main's FF6 style

Ok, the DLC stories are completely separate it seems. I guess the items you have etc will be carried over to the second (?) half of the main story. The DLC stories are just side-stories but part of the same dilemma. But apparently you can import all your data from he separate stories in the final 800 point chunk when it all comes together.

It works like this-

Initial:
Prologue - Ceodore - Kain = 800 points

Tales:
Rydia, Yang, Palom, Edge, Porom, Edward, the Moon = 300 each

End:
Semi-final - Final = 800 points

Apparently there is a bonus dungeon/boss as well in the first 800point game. You talk to Namingway in Baron Inn.

Also, saves are SEPARATE so if you buy Rydia's chapter DO NOT OVERWRITE your original

Confirming this is the entire game. When you select "The Crystals" it lets you import data from any completed story.

the new FF6 style sprites look HOT, they were created by Kazuko Shibuya who did the original sprites for FF1-6 on NES/SNES btw (and also designed the blocks in Yosumin)

Just played a bit of it tonight, this game is awesome... though the recycling is a bit out of hand, it's been so long since I played FF4 that I don't care. And I don't mind hearing that amazing music again...
