Looks totally awesome!  When does this even take place?  It looks a helluva lot like the prequels, but I thought this was supposed to be a thousand years before that.  yet somehow there's already prototype Star Destroyers and TIE Fighters....

To be fair, Star Wars Galaxies had no proper roadmap to follow.  Now that WoW has set the standard all they have to do is copy it and they'll probably get several million subscribers.  If BioWare does something amazing and innovative I'd like that as well, but I'd just be happy with a Star Wars WoW at this point.

KOTOR is developed by BioWare Austin. SWG was developed by SOE Austin. After fucking up SWG and getting the boot, the key members of the first SWG development team (sans Koster) went down the street to BioWare.

I don't know if it's before or after kotor2 and don't really care. Not really interested in playing another MMO overseen by Lucasarts. Anyone who thinks they are getting a Bioware game will have their dreams shattered. LEC will be calling the shots and the game is doomed.

the only mmos i might ever even have considered were a kotor or fallout setting, but i'm fairly confident that both settings will end up sucking pretty turribly
