If you have a friend who can clue you in on what happened and share their notes, you'll be fine.

Although I dropped that habit, preferring to stay in the back corner of the classroom reading the New York Times instead.

I'm probably jinxing it, but I got a call today about a job opportunity that sounds great. The crap thing is that I had to update my references, and it's not like I can ask my present batch of coworkers for a glowing endorsement.

A) I'm the only one who does what I do.
B) I'm the only one with the faintest idea of what I do.
C) Small office. Word spreads. "Hey, can you help me find a new job?"

So I had to get the same people as last time. They still have the A & B problem, but at least I don't have to worry about C.

I had four tests in four days a month before that. (MKT 307, MGT 312, ISM 210, ART 101).

Driving along the pitch black freeway, the moon reflecting off the sea to the left, the dark mountains to the right. No cars, no visibility, 80mph+, a girl asleep in my passenger seat; I feel so alive. These are the moments that truly matter.

I flashback to all girls I've had sleep in my passenger seat while I drive alone in the middle of the night for hours. It's oddly depressing, yet comforting.

San Diego is fucking far from Orange County. I never seem to realize it until I'm driving 80+mph with no traffic and it still takes me 90mins+ LA at night at 80+ is like 45 mins! Both are around the same length during the daytime traffic

You're going a moderate-fast speed but there's no cars to pace with. You have apparently a pretty nice view of the ocean/mountains but you can't talk to the girl about it. And then there's the lack of visibility that you have to be aware of for an hour and a half. That's definitely boring.

Honestly, I would weave until the girl wakes up.

Three finals in a day always turned out to be a nightmare. Every professor was a prima donna who hated the fact that they were the ones to get bumped (the class with the lowest amount of people by the rules was supposed to get bumped if you had three finals in a day). That also meant the professor writing up an alternative version of the test, which I think was the reason why they had a fit. Although I'd be surprised if they didn't just mix up the questions around or change a few digits or whatever.

It proved to be such a headache that I'd just take the three finals in a day if possible. There was one situation where two of the finals were at the exact same time. Had to get the Dean's office involved in that one.

It fulfilled an AULER. All University Liberal Education Requirement. It was probably one of the last such courses I needed to take. It was a survey of western art, or something along those lines. Thickest textbook ever.
