I noticed a trend with all these game/peripheral announcements:

"You'll be seeing this sometime in 2010."

So, what games and such have firm 2009 release dates? This was like "E3...behold The Future!" for the most part.

well, last year all the games were "to be released in 2009." Go watch last year's E3 stuff.

E3 used to always showcase years-off stuff. Wasn't MS the first to start (predominately) showing off stuff releasing in the current year?

This year's fall release schedule is pretty full as it is. I would have liked more pipe dream stuff.

Yeah, it's a bit annoying. But at least most of them seem to be 2010, and not "TBA."

Uncharted 2 looks good, as does SCC.

I was kind of disappointed Sin and Punishment 2 was pushed back to '10... was the main game I was looking forward to this year.

I too thought nothing much was coming out, but that list shows there are a few cool things on the way.

DiRT 2 is definitely 2009.

damn, this thread is older than I thought. From the OP, Dark Void, Bayonetta, Bioshock 2, MAG, Splinter Cell Convictions and Red Steel 2 are 2010 now too.

Until everything gets delayed to 2011

Although wtf at no Gears of War 3 in 2010 according to GAF. I thought the whole idea was to alternate Halo/Gears years and Gears 2 was like an incomplete half-game story-wise. I don't know what Epic is thinking saying the conclusion of that story won't be until like 5-6 years AFTER Gears of War 2.

The OP of the gaf thread never corrected it but apparently Epic corrected themselves and said that the next Gears using UE4 would have to be on the next gen consoles. Any new Gears using UE3 though would still come out this gen.
