I didn't see the conference so I don't get it. :(

Is he weighing his dog using WiiFit?  I've actually did that a few times when my dog was ill and losing weight. :-[

So presumably the vitality sensor senses whether you're alive or dead?  How do you control a game that way, though?  It seems like an inherently restrictive interface.  I guess it could potentially rely on you kidnapping a bunch of people and killing them, and nuances of timing and rhythm would allow room for gameplay depth.  I'd think that would limit the market though but maybe I'm out of touch.

That's what I don't get.  How do you go about showcasing what seems useless with no software demonstration.  Do they think third parties somewhere are brainstorming ways to incorporate pulse into the Wii games they aren't making anyway ???

Whats GAF reaction to Nintendo E3, I didnt have time to check.

Seems to fall along the typical factions.  You have people who think two mario games and badass samus is a good showing.  You have those who still think "Wii has no games"

The vitality sensor will probably be worked into some Wii Zen app. I've heard of a PC game that checks your heart rate and teaches you various meditative techniques to lower your heart rate.

They could use it in games, where your heart rate goes up, the action in the game gets more intense. It's really no more idiotic than Microsoft's camera.

I've heard of an N64 game that checked your heart rate and adjusted the game speed accordingly, using a pulse sensor.

That's nothing, Jinfash.  I've heard of a PS2 game that comes with an attachment to shove up your girlfriend's hoohaa in order to pleasure her while you play.

:rofl more info please!
