1UP: What do you think about Bayonetta, as a game? Do you think Kamiya is right to follow the Devil May Cry formula so closely?

TI: If I made a similar game as a game I made in the company I quit, people would say, "What an idiot, can't he make anything else?" Well, that is more or less the opinion I have for, uh, that Bayo-something game.

1UP: What do you think of Bayonetta's character design? She's covered in hair.

TI: Covered in hair, is she? I dunno, Mr. Kamiya must have a lot going through his head. Well, in any case, I would first recommend laser eye surgery. I'm sure he's not that strapped for cash, right?

Molesting the competition, one grope at a time.

1UP: A lot of your critics have said that your overwhelmingly sexual female character designs border on parody (huge breasts, skimpy clothing). How would you respond to this, and do you plan to continue designing them in this way?

TI: Although I could argue, "What's wrong with women being sexy!," I have to admit I've gotten pretty tired of that. A lot of people are making those recently. I'll gladly let them take over for me. [Laughs]

1UP: So does this mean you won't have women in your next game, or that you just won't have sexy women in your next game?

TI: Don't be stupid.

:lol :lol I love Itagaki

:rofl Itagaki is the best person in the industry.

TI: What are you talking about? Tekken 6 is the sixth worst game I hate. Do you want to know what's number one to number five?

:lol

1UP: Regarding the new Natal development environment for Xbox 360, have you begun to think about what sort of game designs you could apply to it? Do you think this is something you will utilize in your upcoming game, or will you let it mature for a few generations before using it?

TI: Last night, after E3 closed, I got to touch Natal in the Microsoft booth. It is completely awesome. It's an absolutely revolutionary device that increases the freedom of game design by like, a hundred, or maybe more like a thousand times. I got to play with it, and I can tell you it will definitely lead to some great games. It has no latency in motion recognition, so I'm convinced that the guys behind that tech are complete geniuses.

I wonder what Itagaki would do with Natal...

I was 99% sure that Natal quote was going to end with some creepy "I'd like people to have more physical interaction with my daughters" line.

I was disappointed :(

The Master with a deadly blow as always.

1UP: What do you think of this Tekken 6 video?

TI: Is [director, Katsuhiro] Harada on this show?

1UP: Yes.

TI: Oh yeah, I see. He is on TV. I haven't seen him in a while. He used to go to the same university with me. Waseda University. I really respect the fact that he's continuing to make something that will really please the fighting game fans. He is a real man.

1UP: What happened to the Top 5 Most Hated Games? Why are you so nice all of a sudden?

TI: What are you talking about? Tekken 6 is the sixth worst game I hate. Do you want to know what's number one to number five?

1UP: No, it's OK. Don't remind me. I already know.

Pure Gold.

By the way, why does he like God of War so much?

:rofl :rofl :rofl

also i dont agree w/ itagaki, i mean i might if dmc4 and ng2 were actually, you know, good

but they werent, at least they werent worthy enough for the majority of action fans to sink their teeth into

bayonetta looks like it might be able to fill that void

Ninja Gaiden 2 was ass.

NGS2 will be the better game, because you wont have a guy with his head jammed way too high up his ass directing.

Have you seen the videos for NGS2? No blood and disappearing limbs really makes it look a lot less fun. :(

Funny how that didn't work for NGS1...

Despite all of NG2's problems, its combat system is still better than any other 3D action game out right now.

Nah, I played them back to back and NG2 was faster and more fluid than NG:B.

i would but im watching conan on hulu and my ass is starting to get sweaty

i guess tl;dr just know that almost every top ng player prefers black except for the oddball like xninjared (look him up on youtube) and thats not even mentioning the karmafags who loathe 2 (but albeit for super nerdy and ultimately irrelevant to combat engine reasons)

i guess the only thing i can tell you is to read http://www.iberiansngrealm.com/FAQS_Guides/ninja_gaiden_black_advcombat.aaxe.txt and then read it again, memorize all the game's enemies' movements, memorize all the combos including the unlisted ones and when to use them, then go back and play the game on a harder difficulty, all of these factors should come together to make you see the light
