I went into Gamestop to get this:

Because I lost mine like a year ago, which wasn't a big deal up until now because I haven't played my DS in a year. But I wanted to play that sweet looking Miami Law and Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor, so I went to get a replacement and ended up with:

I figured, it's not like I have anything better to do this summer than play JRPGs of questionable merit and post about it on the Internet.
Time to get my j-homo on.

To kick it off, I fired up
Super Robot Taisen OG Saga - Endless Frontier. I figured between Monolith Soft's track and the OMGWTF title of the game, that it should be some crazy animu garbage, and I wasn't disappointed. I played for about 30 minutes, and already I have two huge-breasted chicks in my party, one is robot and the other one is a princess.

The overworld graphics look like a crappy SNES game, but the portrait art features lovely detailed boob art and more jiggle than I'm used to seeing on the DS. Also, the robot chick's special move makes some of her clothes fly off and she turns really slutty and starts coming onto the main guy. And KOS-MOS is in the game. I've only played it for 30 minutes, but so far it's better than Ar Tonelico and Mana Khemia combined. GOTY candidate, imo.
(P.S. I was listening to the Knights in the Knightmare OST while I was posting this. Kudos to Atlus for including soundtracks with most of their games, but does anyone actually listen to this crap? There's like 40 songs on this CD and they all sound pretty much exactly the same, I can't even tell when one song ends and another starts. And it all kinda sounds like having an opera walk up and beat you in the face.)
