Should MS create a version of Excel for the Xbox?

There's a lot of buzz about "spreadsheet gaming" lately, so what if Microsoft were to try to take advantage of their existing skillset and assets here?

Next: A 360 version of Windows 7. Play PC games (should any actually exist) on your 360.

Man, the more I think about this idea, the more I like it.  They should port all of Office.  They should hire David Byrne to oversee the PowerPoint conversion.

For half a second, I thought you said David Blaine. But he's too busy with Natal.

Don't JRPGs fill that spreadsheet niche?

JRPGs are like microsoft works compared to the excel of real PC-style spreadsheet gaming.

Speaking of which I need to grab the new SOTS expansion.

I think you've hit on the one way to make Excel suck more.

Whoa whoa WHOA, Excel does NOT suck!

Let me introduce you to my co-workers, who use it for everything from shopping lists to print-ready layout to spot illustrations via Excel Object Art. I bet you guys will get along fabulously.

I dislike Excel (and Office in general) and I especially dislike programming against it, but everyone in the business world wants to do everything with it so it's hard to avoid.  Everyone else also seems to hate the Office 2007 Ribbon interface, which is about the one aspect of Office I do like, sigh.

I'm in finance, I actually use Excel for it's intended purpose.

A financial with a clear story and a simple spreadsheet can shut all kinds of business people up.
