Every fuck year too. I'm tired of cutting down bamboo for it to grow back twelve times as much the next week. OMG somebody else here knows about Major Lazer. The album already leaked on Usenet and I've been listening to it for most of the day. I'm gonna order it off of Amazon since it doesn't seem like any stores around here are going to get it. I even checked all the local Best Buys at work today but none of them were getting any shipments.

They have the usual GEL silicone compound in the sole but I'm not sure if that's when you're referring to. Otherwise there might be a new Asics design I'm not aware of?

I'd try to find a link or something but I'm lazy. Basically, there was a jelly like substance between the two layers of the bottom. It felt like poking one of those gel candles. I tried them on, but they were like $250 or something, and looked like they wouldn't last. They were awesome though. Imagine airmax if it was um, filled with jello. That you could touch.

I've been saving for that for a while now + birthday + done some side jobs

'Had' to get it while my student discount lasted cause I'm looking for a serious job atm (which means no travelling either).
In communist Belgium studying is very cheap though, except for taxes...which I don't have to pay yet

Who cares. The 3000 can be hacked now and plays pirated games. Go for it. The Rock Band bundle comes with firmware 5.02 so all you have to do is download firmware 5.03 then get ChickHEN on there and then either Gen-A or CustomFirmwareEnabler and you're good to go. I say go for it. I'm hacking mine now.

I'm looking forward to having a portable PS1 and finally being able to play SNES games on the go in a decent resolution (the Nintendo DS' emulation for SNES games is shoddy).

Sorry, I meant to say who cares if it's on its last legs when you've got an entire library of older PSP games at your fingertips, not to mention all the emulation its capable of.

Check this out.

Most of the nay-sayers on the PSP3000 are only against it because at the time you couldn't hack it. Now that you can, I don't see anything wrong with it. The scanlines are on the PSP3000 but are supposedly not very noticeable.

I got the Rock Band PSP 3000 bundle.

The PSP 3000 is really nice. A lot of the changes are hard to appreciate if someone explains it to you. The controls all feel a lot better than on my 2000. The rounded edges make it even more comfortable to use (except when using the analog nub, which is still awkward). The screen seems a lot better than the 2000. Some people have said the scanlines aren't noticeable unless you look for them, but I noticed them right away. It isn't big deal at all and the significantly less ghosting plus better colors/contrast are worth it.

and just because it's Sony and there has to be something stupid, the system comes with with firmware 5.02 and a half charged battery. I put in Rock Band to play, but it requires 5.03...ok, stupid, but whatever. I try to update and it won't let me because the battery isn't fully charged.

The firmware you hack it at is actually 5.03 which is what you should've updated to with Rock Band Unplugged. <3
