Is Sam & Max one of the most unfunny boring pieces of software ever created in the past couple years? This was an absolute horrible game, btw.

Coming straight off the original there's something definitely off with the writing. Also Max's new voice is way too cheery and over excited. Doesn't help that the 3d is poor and the lip synching is off alot.

I never played the original. Does ScummVM Wii support it? I will try to find a talkie version

Don't know about the Wii since I played the CD version off of ScummPC. I'm sure the Wii one would support most of the same games though. The original has a better sense of humor than what the demo had. It's a bit more deadpan with an underlying layer of psychoticness to it (like Max keeping the severed head of his opening victim as a souvenir). The game itself has flaws though. Biggest of them being hidden areas that you'd probably miss if you weren't clicking every pixel.

I played through the first season of sam and max. I bought it on a whim for $5.  Overall, it was a pretty mediocre experience.  Although every episode I made sure to click on the nachos.  Not sure why.
