pretty obvious it's to show off the map. you can dump the AI director in any map and it'll be able to create zombie hordes accordingly

I cant believe people are going to begrudge valve a chance to cash in a bit and exploit their sudden console success after they have practically given away AAA content for years. If this stocks the coffers im all for it, no developer deserves it more, and I hope they put it all in HL3.

Its not as thought the original L4D will be totally barren when the sequel hits.

I mean, begrudge? Deserve? I've given Valve hundreds and hundreds of dollars, and it's not because they are my buddy. It's because I liked their products, and I wanted to support the development of those products. If they change, and start making products that don't appeal to me, I stop giving them money.

Now all of the sudden FUCK THEM? I dont get it. What is the huge transgression? Should they sell L4D2 at cost? Maybe eat a loss and release it as DLC?

Ill happily pay 40$ for L4D2, and im amazed people are so worked up about this. You dont deserve valve as a buddy!

yeah, i was totally prepared to pay for L4D dlc, those campaigns are way too long to be free content

also, on PC they're getting ready to release developer tools, and there'll probably be no shortage of custom campaigns

i have no problem with L4D 2 at all, although i hope they find a way to integrate the two games so you won't have to back out of one to play the other

pc gamers still get plenty of free content from developers - all the COD map packs are free on PC, for instance
