One of my favorite foods, I eat it with almost anything. I do like sweet onions the best, but never know where to buy them. How come fastfood restaurants always have the best ingredients? Their onions, tomatoes and lettuces are unlike anywhere else.

Hate it

I don't mind onions when they're sauteed or otherwise cooked enough that they don't make my mouth reek for hours.

When a distinguished etc. orders a Subway sub before me that has onions on it, I can still taste them

Raw onions are awesome. They are great grilled too. Brush them with some olive oil and grill them for a few minutes. You can buy sweets in the grocery store or farmers markets. Most sweets are either texas sweets, vidalia, or Walla Walla depending where you live. We grow Walla Wallas in the garden and nothing is more incredible then a fresh sweet onion.

I eat raw onions like there is no tomorrow. I even sometimes eat slices of onions like slices of apples.

I love onions. I love them A LOT. Green onions, sweet onions, plain white, vidalia...but my favorite is red onion. Mmmm. I like them grilled, sauteed, and fresh on sandwiches/salads.

yeah, onions are incredibly awesome. Love them raw but they have to be sliced fairly thin. Not that hardcore yet. Anyone try making onioin soup? It's sooo easy and delicious. If you ever have a bag of onions that you don't know what to do with, that should be option numero uno.

I usually cook onions, but I love raw onions particularly with tomatoes like in a salad or on a sandwich.

My feelings exactly. Onions go from bitter nasty to sweet savory when sauteed, its soooo good (I love sauteed onions in fajitas).

Drizzle a salad like that with extra virgin olive oil and a little finely chopped basil, salt and pepper, and have wonderful mouth orgasms.
