It's only a matter of time before Tim Schafer destroys EA, just like he did with Lucasarts and Majesco.

Looks like another bad Guitar Hero ripoff, it'll probably put up Rock Revolution numbers.

Don't know much about this game, but yeah the boxart makes it look like a Guitar Hero ripoff. What is the game like? Psychonauts style 3D platformer?

I've seen it played, but haven't put my hands on it. It's gorgeous, especially the skies. The main part of controlling the character looks like pretty standard 3rd person stuff, but it's a bit more than that. I'll be buying the extra-choice special edition whatever set to get the artbook.

I loved the hell out of Psychonauts, and any Schafer-haters can go ahead and sac-gargle me.

Why?

I have yet to play a game of his I actually liked (I have not played Day of the Tentacle)  There's a lot of hype for his stuff on the internet but that doesn't always translate to actual quality.  I paid $15 for Psychonauts (Xbox version) and felt ripped off, for example.

I'm not going to get fooled a third time.

Looks like it will be funny and entertaining to rock fans at least. I'm not convinced about the gameplay yet.
