So the Red Line, right near where I'd get on, just had two Metro cars collide head on. At least two dead, fifty-five injured. People still left in the cars and fire crews rolling out "mass casualty recovery". Its going to be ugly.
I used to get on Silver Spring to Shady Grove every Monday between 5:00 to 5:45, which would put me right in the middle of this disaster. Talk about a break, eh?
Also, this is an above ground area with single tracking operations - so one of the operators was on the wrong track or was going too fast. Want to bet it has to do with a cell phone?
