It's kind of weird how they didn't list "tentacles" as one of the banned subjects. It does go along with some of the ones that were listed, but that still leaves the door open for "consensual tentacle sex", which I find amusing.

I checked out that Sankaku Complex link (and I think we need to tag any links there with

, holy shit!

) and one of the logical-sounding comments said that this cannot be enforced and that the companies can just give the ratings board the finger and keep selling the shit anyway. I'm surprised there's still such a big market for these Hentai games being sold in stores. If you're going to buy one, chances are pretty high you're a big otaku-nerd, right? Gotta have a nice internet connection; just make all these games downloadable (if they aren't already).

For those who don't know, usually these games (and the hentai comics and/or adult movies) are sold in adults-only bookstores or in "specialty" hentai stores that you'd find in Akihabara-like areas. But there are still some game and PC shops that also stock this stuff. They keep it in a separate area and have separate counters for purchases. In the 3+ years I lived in Japan, I saw someone buy one of those games ONCE. It was in a large 100man Volt electronics store on the PC floor...you could see the part of the hentai area behind a counter that dealt in used PC stuff, and while looking at monitors, I saw a guy BOLT the fuck out of there with a black bag tucked under his arm.

Heh, well there must be a market for the games considering how many of the damn things come out on a monthly basis, they're so expensive too!

Remember that PC game store in the nerd building in KZ? There was like 4 "real" games, and then you head to the other side of the wall and see hundreds of eroge titles, it's pretty impressive. Heh, I wonder if it'll be going out of business now because of the rules.
