I got a 42" Samsung LCD for 1500$. I couldn't pass it up. I said to myself, "No more than 32", no more than 1200$". It's about half the size of my living room. Then I went to Gamestop to get Gears of War. I walked out with GoW, R6 and Viva Pinata.

Fuuuuck. Actually, it's totally awesome and I've been saving for a while, so whatever. I'm just not rich anymore. HD is, however, teh shet.

I got a 32 inch for 950 bux/1030 after tax. I woulda gone bigger, and actually could have, but my media stand wont hold much bigger and I didnt wanna spend a lot and THEN have to buy a new media stand that may or may not match my living room.

Samsungs are great LCD TVs tho. Congrats! I had my last TV for almost five years. So while I had to save a little, the cost is well worth it.

There were a few other sets with comperable pricing, but the guy who runs my favorite vegan joint gave the Samsung a huge thumbs up. I figure, if he knows how to make delicious vegan food, he must know about A/V, right? Right?

Gears of War is amazing, though. It's got such a great feel to it... Rainbow 6 is kicking my ass and VP is impossibly hectic

I love Samsung HDTV's.  I have a 50 inch RP CRT HDTV.  I love it to death.  The picture quality is stunning for a RP.

I still love my 42" Samsung Plasma more though.

I just hooked my tiny pc up in the living room, almost complete wireless and outputs to the hdtv omg omg omg. doesnt even look like a PC on the media stand. Futuar is NOW1
