So, back in April we found out our company was going independent. It was either that, or corporate would close us down.

Anyways, there's A SHITLOAD of questions people have, but most concern our money.

Vacation days got cashed out, taxed, and everyone starts over.
Wages stayed EXACTLY the same.
Unused sick Days would be lost and start over.

That last one? Yeah. Nearly EVERYONE here abused it. Leaving early for *cough*cough* sickness and shit.

So we finally get setup on the new system and we get a message from HR. Sick days are being carried over.

So I have about 5 hours of 'sick time' left for the rest of the year. I guess I can use vacation days, but that's fucking bullshit.
