Did they release it on the Wii for download?

They remade the Phantasy Stars (1, 2, and 4) on PS2 in Japan... they didn't bring it here though :'(

Alys is like a precursor to Aika from SoA. I just got to the tower with the Psycho Wand and the boss there kicked my ass. I guess it's oldschool level up time.

Man, what a great game. I always loved the REAL PS games (fuck the online ones) so much more than the comparable era FFs and DQs. Just liked the sci fi setting and hard as nails gameplay.

Sega am fuck total stupid for not ever doing another real PS, although they did give us the awesome Skies of Arcadia.

The one thing I wish this had was more varied/interesting towns. So far every town looks the same. Being a huge Dune fan I like the setting, but I am wondering if its robbing it of cool locales.

Even I liked PS4, and I'm not much of an RPG player.

Could never get into 1-3 though.

Also I agree that Sega needs to release another REAL Phantasy Star game. But see, that would make sense, and Sega is against doing that kind of thing.

You guys should try playing the first phantasy star. That game is fucking hard! It took me ~ a week to beat it, and I had all of the dungeons mapped out WITH the speedup option. Good god......

Phantasy Star 4 is a good game, it's just a nicely set up RPG that takes some good skill to beat if you play it right through.

I'm always made fun of because I actually level up in RPGs. Denise always talks shit to me "Well you didn't REALLY beat it.. you ran around and leveled up instead of constantly going through the story."

Apparently she can be ~level 38 at the end and beat PS4...

The best part of PSIV is Zio. If I were a crazy assed cult leader hellbent on converting the world to evil and/or helping destroy the universe, I would most definitely believe that Zio would strike fear and doubt into those who would oppose me.
